Panoramica

The Economics Innovation For Sustainable Development (EISD) program is a joint master degree in economics promoted by the Université Côte d’Azur and the University of Turin.

This international program ensures integration across all university cycles, especially those from the Master to the PhD. It focuses on sustainable development, with a strong emphasis on eco-innovations and the analysis of dynamics in businesses, regions and cities, fostering multidisciplinary reflection and perspectives (economics, management, law).

The objectives of this joint Master program are threefold:
• To provide students with high-level skills in analyzing the economic dynamics underlying innovation processes in private and public organizations, with a particular focus on strategies related to new technological challenges such as digital transformation and ecological transition.
• To provide students with statistical and econometric tools and methods useful for analyzing data and technological trends and necessary for the informed coordination and planning of business innovation strategies compatible with sustainable development goals.
• To offer students activities conducive to developing and enhancing their language skills.
The goal of this joint Master program is to help bridge the growing gap between the supply and demand for high-level skills needed to face the increasingly uncertain and urgent competitive environment in which businesses operate.

The course is therefore designed to provide advanced knowledge in various fields (economics, management, law) through the involvement of teachers with recognized scientific and research profiles. Thus, the Master program trains professionals with the skills needed to occupy high-level positions in companies, with a strong capacity to analyze contexts and trends. With the skills acquired, graduates should be able to proactively help companies seize the opportunities presented by ongoing profound changes.

This field of study is internationally relevant, leveraging existing skills while requiring the combination of new competencies to support the governance of future innovation projects, with close links between training and research.
