This is a course with a fixed quota of places, which requires to pass an admission test before enrolment.
The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: Italian / English / French / Spanish.
Often you can get a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original.
These documents shall be written or translated in one of the following languages: Italian, English, French, Spanish. If the document is issued in a different language from those listed above, you will have to upload both the original document and its certified translation.
You must take the original entry qualification documents along with you when you finally go to the university.
Students enrolling for the first time on an Italian-taught first cycle degree or one long cycle degree who gained their high school diploma abroad or in a foreign-system school in Italy, will be required to take an Italian language test.
The degree programme in Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage aims at training students in order to obtain a second cycle degree and a professional profile equivalent to the professional qualification of Restorer of Cultural Heritage. Graduates are able to identify the state of preservation and to adopt direct and indirect measures in order to minimize the degradation process of materials and assure the preservation of heritage safeguarding its cultural value.
The are different path to be followed:
1. Stone and derived materials; architectural decorated surfaces
2. Painted artifacts on a wooden or textile backing
3. Textile and leather materials and artifacts
4. Pottery and glassy materials and artifacts
5. Books and archives outputs
Il corso di Conservazione e Restauro dei Beni Culturali è finalizzato a formare laureati magistrali con il profilo corrispondente alla qualifica professionale di Restauratore di Beni Culturali. I laureati sono in grado di definire lo stato di conservazione e di mettere in atto un complesso di azioni dirette e indirette per limitare i processi di degrado dei materiali costitutivi dei beni e assicurarne la conservazione, salvaguardandone il valore culturale.
