To enrol in a second-cycle degree programme (i.e. master’s degree) with no admission quotas, you must hold a first-cycle degree (i.e. bachelor’s degree) of at least a 3 year-duration. You will also need to meet specific admission requirements and demonstrate adequate personal knowledge.
The course has no limited enrolment programme.

These documents shall be written or translated in one of the following languages: Italian, English, French, Spanish. If the document is issued in a different language from those listed above, you will have to upload both the original document and its certified translation.
You must take the original entry qualification documents along with you when you finally go to the university.
Your knowledge of Italian language (level C1) will be verified during the admission interview.

The Master’s degree programme in Comparative Studies provides a wide range of options with regard to the study of modern Western humanistic culture. The comparative perspective tends to gather literary and artistic productions of different linguistic areas, looking into the presence of common elements and focusing on the peculiarities associated to them.
The course provides a deep knowledge of history, philology and critique of Western expression in literature, music and arts; these knowledges are fostered according to a comparative perspective.
Il Corso di laurea magistrale in Culture moderne comparate offre un ampio ventaglio di proposte nello studio della cultura umanistica dell’Occidente moderno. La prospettiva comparatistica tende a mettere in dialogo la produzione letteraria ed artistica di aree linguistiche diverse, indagando la presenza di elementi comuni e mettendo a fuoco le specificità ad esse riconducibili.
Il corso offre una preparazione approfondita nella storia, nella filologia e nella critica dell’espressione letteraria, musicale e artistica del mondo occidentale; tali conoscenze sono coltivate in particolare nella dimensione comparativa.
