Do you need a study visa?

If you are a non-EU student residing abroad, you should submit your pre-enrolment application through the Universitaly platform by July 15th, 2025.

On Universitaly, you can only apply to one of the programs you are eligible for on Apply@UniTo. You will also have to choose the competent Embassy or Consulate in your country of residence, where you will submit your visa application.

Please note that even non-EU students exempt from applying on Apply@UniTo must submit their pre-enrolment through Universitaly in order to obtain a study visa.

If you reside in a different country from that of your citizenship, please verify with the local Italian Embassy if it’s possible to apply for your study visa through them and which documentation may be required.

Once you pre-enrol on Universitaly, please be aware that we might contact you if we require you to attach additional documentation (language certifications, missing documents, etc) or if we need you to correct wrong personal data.

Please also be aware that before you are allowed to complete your enrolment, the International Students Desk might request further documentation in addition to what was presented by applicants during the application phase.
