Overview

The one long cycle degree focuses on the education in the traditional juridical professions (lawyers, magistrates, notaries). It aims at preparing students with the knowledge of the main sectors of the legal system, both in the fundamental subjects and in their specific characteristics, as well as the mastery of the methodological tools that are necessary for the self-updating of the jurist and for the deepening of individual updates.
The programme, in compliance with the knowledge of classical juridical sectors, is developed with qualitative and quantitative updated modalities according to the jurist orientation perspectives and work in an increasingly internationalised area of interest, in which the connection between the major families of the legal systems are more and more strong. In this regard, the programme also aims at familiarising students with the legal language of at least another foreign language.
In accordance with the qualifying educational goals of the Master’s Degree, the programme also aims at providing students with a proper awareness of juridical and legal logic and argumentation, as well as with historical knowledge that make it possible to evaluate the present legal institutions, also in perspective of their future development.
