Overview

OBJECTIVES

The degree programme in Languages and Cultures of Asia and Africa provides different courses according to the chosen languages (Arabic, Chinese, Hebrew, Japanese, Hindi, Persian, Sanskrit and Swahili).
Some of the courses are in common with different paths and provide basic cultural and critical tools, essential to face the study of Asian and African cultures. These courses concern fields such as Italian Literature and Linguistics, and, to be chosen by the student, history, philosphy, religion, classical languages, archaeology, anthropology, sociology, law, economy, geography, artistic and literary disciplines.
Each field is carachterised by several disciplines such as history, philology, linguistic and religious philosophical subjects, which allow to improve the knowledge of the cultural area of the chosen language.

OBIETTIVI

Il corso di studi in Lingue e Culture dell’Asia e dell’Africa prevede percorsi corrispondenti alle diverse lingue studiate (arabo, cinese, ebraico, giapponese, hindi, persiano, sanscrito e swahili).
Alcuni insegnamenti comuni forniscono strumenti culturali e critici di base, indispensabili anche per affrontare lo studio delle culture asiatiche e africane. Tali insegnamenti riguardano, obbligatoriamente, settori quali la letteratura italiana e la linguistica, e, a scelta dello studente, storia, filosofia, religioni, lingue classiche, archeologia, antropologia, sociologia, diritto, economia, geografia e discipline artistico-letterarie.
Ciascuna area si caratterizza per la presenza di discipline specifiche di carattere storico, filologico-linguistico e filosofico-religioso, che consentono di approfondire lo studio almeno dell’area culturale della Lingua principale.
