Overview

The second cycle degree programme in Physics of Complex Systems provides students with a specialized knowledge addressed to the study and to the modellization of complex natural and anthropic systems and phenomena, in particular, in the frame of physics of fluids – turbulence and dispersion – econophysics, bioinformatics and neurophysics.
The graduate in Physics of Complex Systems must have:
• a sound knowledge in main sectors of modern physics
• high level of knowledge in physics methods, mathematical and numerical for the analyses of a wide variety of systems and complex phenomena
• the ability to apply acquired knowledge and techniques to the solution of new problems and to the study of interdisciplinary methods
• the ability to transfer acquired methodologies also to fields which are not related to science (management, organizational, productive).

• una solida preparazione in vari settori di punta della fisica moderna e nei loro aspetti applicativi;
• una piena padronanza dei metodi fisici, matematici e numerici per l’analisi di un’ampia varietà di sistemi e fenomeni complessi;
• la capacità di applicare le conoscenze e le tecniche acquisite alla soluzione di problemi nuovi e allo studio di situazioni interdisciplinari;
