Entry qualification | First cycle diploma (BA, Undergraduate diploma) You must hold a first-cycle degree (i.e. bachelor’s degree) gained after at least 3 years of University education. You will also need to meet specific admission requirements and demonstrate a suitable academic preparation and a solid background. Note: the requirements and the admission procedures differ depending on the applicant’s citizenship. Italian and EU applicants, applicants with European equivalent status, non-EU applicants legally residing in Italy are required to sit the admission test in English, or alternatively are exempted from the admission test if they hold a valid GMAT or GRE certificate. The admission test will be held in two different sessions and applicants will be able to participate in both of them: - The first admission test will be held on April 10th 2024. Applicants have to register for the admission test on the MyUnito portal, from February 19th to March 19th 2024. For further information, please refer to the following page. Extra-EU applicants residing abroad and Chinese students currently attending the Marco Polo program: The curricular requirement is considered fulfilled if a) the candidate, graduate or near-graduate, holds a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification with 48 ECTS credits in Business Administration, Economics, Law, Mathematics, Statistics in their study plan; or b) the candidate, graduate or near-graduate, is in possession of GMAT or GRE certification, obtained no more than 5 years ago. In addition to the curricular requirements it is also necessary to pass the personal knowledge verification, which will take place through the evaluation of the previous academic career and of the qualifications submitted by the candidate at the time of the application. The evaluation of qualifications is based on: Knowledge of the English language at a minimum level of B2 of the Council of Europe is required (up to 5 points). For the purposes of the verification of knowledge of the English language, candidates may submit either one of the following certificates: o GMAT or GRE certification score; Up to 4 additional points will be awarded for submitting a Reference Letter (up to 2 points) and previous relevant work experience (up to 2 points). In the event of a tie, priority will be given to the youngest candidate. A minimum overall score of 26 out of 44 (minimum requirement of adequate personal preparation) is required for admission. Overview
Our program provides students with a high-level education in the business management field. The main subjects taught at the first year deepen and broaden students’ understanding of the business functions in big, complex and multinational companies. Integrating reporting, International law and taxation, Quality and environment management, Business organization, International corporate finance and Capital markets are considered fundamental courses, together with Interpreting the macroeconomic scenario and Managing change and innovation. At the second year, students can choose, among a vast array of elective courses, those that most meet their interests and abilities. The program concludes with a compulsory internship and a final project. The project work should be strictly based on a deep-contact experience within an organization, providing again a new opportunity to all students to enhance their academic knowledge with field experience.
With this program, we aim to create a new generation of open-minded, serious and well prepared managers, who can hold top job position such as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer in complex, multinational and multicultural companies.
Career opportunities
Many careers are open to our graduates in Business Administration. Their language skills, international perspective and problem-solving mindset will allow them to cover qualified positions in multinational organizations and financial institutions.
Our graduates should be able to achieve the top of the management hierarchy and become Officers, Chief Officers and Directors of the different business functions: Accounting and Finance, Risk Management, Marketing, Sales and Distribution, Human Resources etc.
